💵 Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 base salary

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Field Technical Specialist I to join our growing team. In this entry-level field role, you’ll be the face of Imagine IT at client sites—troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing the technology that keeps their businesses running. You’ll work under the guidance of senior technical staff and gain real-world experience solving diverse IT challenges in dynamic environments.
🧠 What You’ll Do
Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for client systems and equipment
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and repairs
Train customers on proper system use and maintenance best practices
Maintain detailed service call records and prepare technical reports
Stay informed on emerging technologies and provide feedback to improve processes
Ensure all work follows safety standards and company policies
Travel regularly to client locations (sometimes on short notice) to deliver responsive service
Collaborate closely with engineers, technical specialists, and sales teams to resolve complex issues
🎯 What You Bring
1–3 years of experience in IT support, customer service, or field service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware, software, and networking
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for client site visits
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and passion for technology
💰 Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000
This reflects our good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this position, based on market data and internal equity. Final compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
